Paladini and Port Vale

If things had gone just a little differently, instead of it being QPR Chairman Gianni Paladini it would probably have been Port Vale Chairman, Gianni Paladini. In late 2003, Gianni Paladini made a bid for Port Vale, and came very close to having his offer accepted. At the time, it was reported that his interest in the club was brought about by his son, Stephen, who was described as being a Port Vale supporter.
