Toronto- Danny Dichio suffers ankle sprain Toronto FC Media Relations
After undergoing further x-rays on Monday, Toronto FC forward Danny Dichio has been diagnosed with a sprained ankle.
Dichio suffered the injury in the 33rd minute of Sunday's game against FC Dallas; he remained on the field for the remainder of the half, but was substituted in the second half for forward Andrea Lombardo.
He is listed as 50-50 for this Saturday's game against the New England Revolution in Massachusetts.
"Obviously we're very happy that the x-rays were negative and nothing was broken", said Head Coach Mo Johnston. "Danny's a very big part of this team, and we'll be doing everything to make sure he's taking care and getting the right treatment and hopefully he'll be ready to play on Saturday." Toronto
