"Paulo Sousa has picked up the poisoned chalice that is the QPR manager's job and, although he started with a win over Charlton and draw at Crystal Palace, it's debatable how long he'll last.
- It's hard to feel much these days for a club that is increasingly devoid of a heart. Secretary Sheila Marson's employment has been 'terminated' with a curt four-line statement in return for 35 years of service while the old boys who ran the press room have also left.
- There appears to be a conscious effort to wipe out the past in W12. Will this have any effect on the pitch, especially with table-topping Wolves in town? Hopefully not. The fans will trust Dexter Blackstock's good form continues thanks to Sousa's change of tactics. Rather than leaving the former England under-21 player alone up front, the team are now offering greater support to their main striker – and the evidence came with his two strikes against Charlton.
- Long may it continue – especially here, in a game that will really show whether Rangers and their new boss have got what it takes to win promotion." Noam Friedlander - Time Out London
