QPR REPORT: UPDATED THROUGHOUT THE DAY

QPR Official Site - WAITING GAME FOR ROWLY
- Martin Rowlands will be sent for a scan this morning (Thursday) after suffering a knee injury in his country's World Cup Qualifier with Montenegro last night.
- The R's captain was stretchered off five minutes before half-time in the goalless draw, and must now play a waiting game before discovering the full extent of the injury.
- Head Physio Paul Hunter told www.qpr.co.uk: "We'll have a look at him when he comes to the training ground today, and then take him for a scan.
- "Obviously we will know more once we get those results back. It's too early to speculate at this stage as to the seriousness of the problem."
- It's a bitter pill to swallow for the 30-year-old, who was making his first start for the national team.
- "I spoke with the Republic of Ireland Physio Alan Byrne last night, and I also spoke with Martin," Hunter added.
- "He seemed alright, but was understandably frustrated.
- "We will know more in the next 24 hours." QPR
