QPR Official Site - W12 WELCOMES THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL!
- Loftus Road played host to the super-stars of the Brazilian national side this evening (Thursday), as the Samba boys continued their preparations ahead of Sunday's friendly against Scotland.
- Coach Mano Menezes oversaw an hour long session in W12, as the likes of Dani Alves, Maicon, Lucio, Sandro, Neymar and Pato were put through their paces at the home of the Championship leaders.
- R's gaffer Neil Warnock was amongst the interested spectators, alongside over 80 members of the international press.
- Brazil lock horns with the Scots at the Emirates on Sunday, with the showpiece friendly kicking off at 14.00pm.
- The clash will be the tenth meeting between the two nations, with Brazil boasting seven wins, while there have been two draws.

SKY/Juha Pal - Buzsaky happy at QPR - Midfielder rejects exit speculation
- Queens Park Rangers midfielder Akos Buzsaky has insisted he is fully committed to the club.
- Reports have suggested that the Hungarian midfielder, who has been hampered by injuries this season, could be looking to leave Loftus Road.
- However, he maintains that nothing could be further from the truth as he is enjoying life with the Championship pacesetters.
- "This is not true that I wanted to leave my club. I was injured but now I'm over it," Buzsaky told Nemzeti Sport.
- "I'm committed to QPR. I have one year left on my contract and I'm self-assured.
- "I play regularly at a club which has very good chances for promotion."
Bright future
- Buzsaky is excited about what the future might hold for QPR, while he has also paid tribute to manager Neil Warnock for creating a team that is strong in defence as well as attack.
- "We've been leading the table through the whole season, and if we earn seven points in our next three games then we're promoted," said the 28-year-old.
- "Our manager knows what he wants, he knows how to develop a team in the Championship.
- "Our defence is the best, we have lost only four times. When our strikers don't score it doesn't mean that we lose the game.
- "This is a league where it's true that the last can beat the first, so balance is an essential condition for success.
- "Neil Warnock could make QPR a balanced team. Our squad is strong as well as the financial conditions of the club." Sky
Paul Warburton/Fulham Chronicle - QPR plan swoop for Wolves striker Kevin Doyle
- QPR are keen to make Kevin Doyle their first Premiership signing.
- The Wolves and Republic of Ireland forward would cost a record £8million-plus – and any deal would depend on relegation-threatened Wanderers swapping places with Hoops in the top flight.
- The man named as Irish footballer of the year 2010 is set to lead the line for the Republic against Macedonia in tomorrow’s (Saturday) Euro qualifier – but if Rangers get their way, he would lead their challenge in the top flight, assuming the Championship leaders stay where they are all the way to May.
- "It might be tough to get Doyle," said an Rs insider, "but he would be just the player needed if the club is promoted."
- The 27-year-old joined Wolves from Reading in 2009 and still has another two years on his contract after this one. Wolverhampton manager Mick McCarthy would be loathe to let Doyle go – but not as loathe as the player would be to drop a division with Euro 2012 just around the corner.
- Officially, nobody at Loftus Road is talking about promotion, but behind the scenes plans are taking shape for a return to the top flight for the first time in 15 years.
