The former Scotland international could complete a move to Dens Park later this week.

20 February 2012

Former Scotland international Nigel Quashie is set to sign for Dundee until the end of the season.

The midfielder, who has been without a club since leaving Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2010, has held talks and could complete a move to Dens Park by the end of the week.

English-born Quashie played 14 times for Scotland, debuting against Estonia in 2004 and playing his final match against Lithuania in September 2006.

Quashie, 33, has spent his entire professional career south of the border, playing for QPR, Nottingham Forest, Portsmouth, Southampton, West Bromwich Albion, West Ham United, Birmingham City, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Milton Keynes Dons.

SKY - Queens Park Rangers have won the battle to sign Australian striker Peter Skapetis.

The 17-year-old is rated very highly in his homeland and is considered one of the best players for his age in Australia.
