QPR Official Site - Rowlands and Delaney ROWLY MAKING STEADY PROGRESS
- Martin Rowlands is reluctant to set a comeback date following his recent Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury, but is happy with the progress he is making.
- Speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, the 30 year-old revealed he is making steady progress following the ACL injury he sustained against Derby County in mid-January.
- "The knee is getting better all the time," he said.
- "It's been three months or so now since I picked up the injury, but I'm making progress all the time.
- "I'm back doing some jogging and some light ball work and that's great. It's great to be out of the gym."
- Whilst he was reluctant to set a date for his proposed comeback, Rowlands added: "I'm hopeful I'll be back somewhere around the start of the season.
- "I'm not going to put a date on it, just in case I suffer any setbacks, but hopefully I should be back somewhere near the start of the new campaign."
- Rowlands' probable return, coupled with Akos Buzsaky's expected recovery from a similar ACL injury, would provide Rangers with a massive boost ahead of the new campaign, as team-mate Damien Delaney acknowledged.
- "It's easy to make excuses for this season, but the fact is we've been without a lot of our key players for large parts of the season," the Republic of Ireland international told www.qpr.co.uk.
"You've got to remember that Patrick Agyemang has been out; Martin Rowlands has been out; Akos Buzsaky has been out; and Rowan Vine has been out.
- "Agyemang was scoring for fun last season; Rowly got his fair share; Akos was free-scoring as well; and Viney was bagging goals aplenty.
- "If you look at that bunch, that's nearly 40 odds goals that have been taken out of the team, by not having them available.
"It's been a disappointing campaign, but if we're all fully fit, we can expect a marked improvement next season." QPR

May 12, 2008 - QPR Official Site SEASON TICKET APPLICATIONS
- The 2008/09 Coca Cola Championship campaign promises to be one to remember for Queens Park Rangers Football Club - and R's fans will, as always, play a key role in helping the Club realise the dream of achieving Premiership football.
- From Thursday (15th May), existing Season Ticket holders, members and supporters who attended two or more home fixtures last season, will receive their application forms for the 2008/09 Championship campaign.
- As we grow as a Club, we're committed to ensuring that the fans' matchday experience is the best it possibly can be.
- We've been recognised for our efforts already with the prestigious Football League 'Family Excellence Award,' which measures the level of service in everything from ticket pricing and the helpfulness of stewards, to child protection policies.
- Over the course of next season, we'll strive to make that experience even better - and for that reason alone, there really has never been a better time to be a Season Ticket holder at Loftus Road. QPR
