Bristol City Official Site - WE'LL BE FOCUSED ON QPR - GARY
- Gary Johnson insists players will put the Crystal Palace controversy out of their minds and concentrate fully on tonight's Coca-Cola Championship clash with QPR.
- The City boss insists all that needs to be said about incidents at Ashton Gate on Saturday against the Eagles has now been said.
And 100 per cent of the focus will be on tonight's battle with Jim Magilton's QPR in Bristol (kick-off 7.45pm).
- "We've buried it, it won't affect the players," Gary told Player in his pre-match interview. "The apology I've received directly from (referees' chief) Keith Hackett has buried it in my mind.
- "What people have forgotten is that we've scored a very good goal and won a game at the weekend.
- "We have to keep the momentum of winning football games. Two (wins) is not a run, three or four is and that's why this game against QPR is so important.
- "We want to be at the top early and competing for the top places."
-Of the QPR match, Gary said: "They're one of the favourites to go up and Jim Magilton has been tasked with that.
"He did a good job at Ipswich and they always played good football. But we have to get our game going; we had five or six good 'combinations' against Crystal Palace which got the crowd going - but we want to double that tonight."
Danny Haynes returns to the squad after suspension and Andrius Velicka is poised to play some part tonight.
Louis Carey (calf) is the only injury doubt. Bristol City
