A week which began on a high and ended on a low with once again some off the field queries.
Last Saturday began with the euphoria of QPR's Friday night televized victory over Cardiff with Jones scoring a late, late goal. Cardiff Win
Tuesday: There's a QPR player in the Championship "Team of the Week." - But not "the usual" Rowlands or Cook or Smith. Zesham Rehman.
Wednesday: QPR Reserves played Millwall Reserves at Loftus Road. The puzzlement was that playing for QPR was someone called Ukah. The only person called Ukah who QPR people are familiar with is Ugo Ukah who was released from the club in May. QPR Departure Announcement
Thursday: the Loan Transfer Window Closed, with no new players arriving at QPR and no additional players moving on (unless Steffan Moore unannounced return to Port Vale counts as a move)
- And at Plymouth, Tim Breacker finally gets released by QPR after nearly 300 days of Gardening Leave. Breacker
- QPR win the F&C Investements "performance of the week" for their win at Cardiff. Award
Friday: Tim Breaker speaks to the press about QPR, Gardening Leave, Holloway and Plymouth. Breacker Talks
More than a week after his announced departure, Exited Chief Operating Officer, Graham Mackrell finally is removed from the online staff page (coincidentally, a couple of hours after his remaining listed was noted on this blog) Mackrell.
Saturday: On the field, QPR's 1-0 loss to Coventry. Coventry's Win
- And on the programme, Ugo Ukah listed as #40 (although NOT listed on the onsite See Ukahlist of First Team Squad.
- The latest issue of the AKUTRS comes out - without Paladini's response yet provided.
- And in a completely different realm: Off the field, a statement on the official site that four QPR youth players helping the police with their inquiries - QPR Statement.
Sunday: Just post-match regrets; concern about what possibly happened vis-a-vis these four QPR youth; and an as yet unanswered query about why Ugo Ukah is seemingly back at Loftus Road. And continued press "rumours" about various clubs being interested in Lee Cook.
