Highlights From a Week of QPR News and Rumours

Among the news items and rumours in the world of QPR this past week:

On the field, after a couple of weeks of pre-season training, the club played its first pre-season game, against non-league Stevenage.

A new, third strip unveiled (black with a dash of yellow!)..."Phenomenal" Season Ticket sales announced by the club which was capping sales at 10,000. Also perspective of QPR's Ali Russell on the BBC.

Transfer rumours continued: Evans to QPR turned out not to be the case (at least not yet). The Gorkss transfer/non transfer saga continued with talk of Norwich moving in(even as the club removed from its site its July 4 Gorkss announcement). Crystal Palace's Ben Watson to QPR in the latest update, is again reported. Meanwhile the week began with the report that QPR were bidding for Real Madrid's International Defender, Michel Salgado

One transfer that did happen: The Loan out of QPR goalie Jake Cole to Oxford.

Last week's Sunday People "reported" that QPR to Dowie: Get QPR Promoted...Then Be Replaced!...
