QPR: "Phenomenal" Season Ticket Sales

-
Very impressive. Many QPR fans may be hoping that the club will be spending some of this ticket and sponsorship income on a couple of additional players!

QPR Official Site - RANGERS CAP SEASON TICKET SALES
Queens Park Rangers will cap the number of Season Ticket sales for the first time in the Club's history.
Phenomenal demand for Season Tickets during the summer has seen thousands of fans secure their seats for the R's quest to return to the Premiership, in the first full season since Flavio Briatore, Bernie Ecclestone and the Mittal Family completed their takeover of the Club.
Sales will be capped at 10,000 for the forthcoming campaign - which means there are just a few hundred Season Tickets remaining.
Deputy Managing Director, Ali Russell, said: "The response from our supporters has been incredible.
"Our Season Ticket holders have enjoyed fantastic savings compared to buying tickets on a match-by-match basis, which is a just reward to them for their continued support.
"By capping the Season Tickets at 10,000, we're allowing those supporters who can't necessarily afford a Season Ticket or can't make it down to Loftus Road every Saturday or midweek match, to have the opportunity to purchase tickets on a match-by-match basis.
"I would just like to say a massive thank you to all our committed fans who have remained loyal to the Club during some difficult times in the past and have seen what a positive future lies ahead for Queens Park Rangers.
"I would also like to say a special thank you to the Box Office for dealing with such demands, at a time when the Club, the seating structure and the stadium was going through some major changes."
The arrival of five new signings, as well as new First Team Coach Iain Dowie, has seen many pundits short-list Rangers as one of the top candidates for promotion.
And that feel-good factor, coupled with the form the R's showed during the second half of the previous campaign, has seen supporters embrace the new era in W12, as Russell explained.
"The demand for Season Tickets has been amazing," he said.
"We've been inundated with renewals and new Season Ticket holders ever since the tickets went on sale, and with just over three weeks to go until the start of the new campaign, we wanted to make sure that people have a few more weeks to ensure that they guarantee their seat for every fixture here next season.
"We can't wait for the new season to start and for fans to come to a new and improved Loftus Road, thanks to all the hard work that has taken place over the summer." QPR
