I first started the QPR Report Blog some 18 years ago in 2005 around the time of "The Boardroom Coup" and Gianni Paladini's take over at QPR.
For years prior to that; poste regularly (some would say 'Inordinately") on the QPR Messageboards - primarily on Battletank's old "Dot.Org" site....But also elsewhere. And even continued posting on the boards after I set up the blog.
A lot of cpy and pasting! Wasn't wild about the messageboard vitriol and the inter-messageboard wars (which seems to have died down a bit). And particularly that one messageboard which seemed "very-in-tune" with the perspective of Gianni Paladini!
For about a decade, I posted daily - often several times a day - on the QPR Report blog.
Mostly it was "Copy and Pastes" either of articles, match reports and some nostalgia.
But there was also a periodic semi-documenting (not reporting) re QPR ownership and things they were doing and saying.
This started in the days of Gianni Paladini...then followed through to the days of Flavio and Bernie...and carried onto
the early years of Tony Fernandes.
About a decade ago; this blog basically went on hiatus. And I focused on my QPR Report twitter feeed (twitter.com/qprreport and the messageboard QPR Report https://qprreport.proboards.com
Anyway think it's time to revive the blog! (Although in a far more "restrained" manner than previously
More to say later
