QPR's Interest in Adam Czerkas and Other Trialists (Ben Kosky/Kilburn Times)

Ben Kosky/Kilburn Times - Czerkas set to fill the gap

QPR could strengthen their front line by signing Polish triallist Adam Czerkas after losing out ... Bradley Wright-Phillips.... The 6ft 1in striker, who turns 22 tomorrow, is currently playing for Odra Wodzislaw and has been on trial at Loftus Road this week.
Waddock said: "Bradley Wright-Phillips is a player I like and he would have been a good addition to the squad."He is the type of player we want at this club, whether on loan or permanent and I'd have love him to have joined us."But he's not, so we move on and see if we can get somebody else in to take us forward. There are areas of the squad I know we need to improve and that's down to me to sort out."As we move on through pre-season I'm going to look at one or two different things that may help us."
Waddock is also interested in signing midfielder Egutu Oliseh, who is the younger brother of former Nigerian World Cup captain Sunday Oliseh and appeared in last weekend's friendly at Aldershot Town. The younger Oliseh, 25, has spent most of his career in French football with Nancy and Grenoble, but played for Belgian club La Louviere last year.
QPR included three other triallists against Aldershot - left-back Anthony Tonkin, who made nearly 100 appearances for Crewe during the last three years, as well as Congolese striker Betu Tshamanga and former Bristol Rovers centre-back Tobi Jinadu.
