John Gregory is the favoured candidate to become the new Queens Park Rangers manager in the summer, writes Wayne Veysey.
The former Aston Villa and Derby boss is understood to be the club's choice to succeed Ian Holloway, who remains on gardening leave.
QPR have won just twice in nine games under caretaker manager Gary Waddock and lost 2-1 to bottom club Crewe on Saturday. He will be given a coaching position if Gregory takes over
