Ex-QPR CEO Mark Devlin Leaves Swindon (Exactly Six Months after Terrible Plane Crash)

Swindon Town have announced that CEO Mark Devlin is leaving Swindon. Note: It's six month tomorrow, that Mark Devlin was involved -along with his son and ex-QPR Chairman Bill Power, and of course, the pilot - in that serious plane crash. Prior to becoming CEO at Swindon, Devlin was QPR's CEO before being make "redundant" by Gianni Paladini and the majority of the QPR Board. Very best of luck to him.

The Club have today announced that with regret they have accepted the resignation of Mark Devlin from his position as Chief Executive of Swindon Town Football Club.
The Board of Directors and management respect his decision and wish him future success and thank him for his efforts of the past.
Mark would like to take this opportunity to wish the club and its supporters the very best in their endeavours to gain promotion this season.
"I look forward to seeing the club playing League One football next season," said Devlin. "Can I also take this opportunity to thank the many friends, supporters and acquaintances for all the support they have given me during my time at the club and since the aircrash," he concluded. SWINDON TOWN: Devlin quits Town
MARK Devlin has quit as chief executive of Swindon Town after the club revealed they have accepted his resignation.
Devlin has wished Town the best in their League Two promotion push. He said: "I look forward to seeing them playing League One football next season."
