Plymouth Herald - QPR manager Neil Warnock confirms interest in Argyle striker Mackie
Jamie Mackie

QUEENS Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock has confirmed his interest in Plymouth Argyle striker Jamie Mackie.
But the former Pilgrims' boss stopped short of making a commitment to take the 24-year-old to Loftus Road.
Mackie was linked with a £500,000 move to QPR by one national newspaper yesterday, and the report also stated Mackie had been to London for talks with Rangers.
Warnock told Herald Sport: "He's one of a number of players we are looking at. Other than that, I haven't got anything else to say on the subject."
Argyle are ready to let Mackie, who was their eight-goal top scorer this season, leave after their relegation from the Championship.
But they want to make sure they get the best deal possible for themselves, as well as for Mackie.
He was signed from Exeter City for £145,000 in January 2008, and a 20 per cent sell-on clause was also agreed.
So the Grecians would pick up £100,000 should Mackie be sold for £500,000.
Mackie has been mentioned as a target for two other Championship clubs — Derby County and Sheffield United.
However, he was born in Surrey, so a move to QPR, who are set to make a big splash in the transfer market this summer, would probably appeal more to him. Mackie, who can also play in a wide midfield role, has made 102 appearances for Argyle and scored 16 goals..."Plymouth Herald
