Gillingham fans make top 10 in the style league
Gills supporters have beaten most of the country in the league of most stylish fans on the terrace.
They came eighth in the new Brylcreem league of all 92 English clubs.
Director of sales at the club, John Holmes said: "We have a big push with our fans this year,and I have to admit we are both stylish on the pitch and off the pitch.
"We are delighted our fans have done so well in this league – coming in so high is testimony to the elegance of our supporters. They are truly a slick lot."
Reading has the most stylish football fans in the country, according to the widespread new survey.
Wigan and Blackburn were sent to the Conference as Reading took the cup in the Brylcreem League of Style...
In the first piece of research of its kind, Brylcreem interviewed football fans from all 92 English league clubs – 4,500 in total – asking them about their taste in everything from hairstyle, clothes labels, favourite drink and stylish holidays and nights out.
Responses were graded out of 10 with a maximum points score of 60.
