BBC - QPR can make play-offs - Delaney
Queens Park Rangers defender Damien Delaney insists the team can still make a late surge for the play-offs.
The R's are now eight points above the relegation zone and eight points behind the top six after Sunday's 3-0 win over Stoke City.
Delaney, 26, told BBC London 94.9: "No one is under any illusions, but as long as it's mathematically possible we'll keep trying."
QPR travel to the Ricoh Arena on Wednesday to face struggling Coventry.
Mikele Leigertwood, who hit two goals in Sunday's victory, refused to get carried away by the side's recent run. "You've got to be realistic as a few bad results and we'll be looking the other way again," he told BBC London 94.9.
"Obviously, everyone wants to get promoted and we'll be looking to get as high up the table as possible." BBC

SETANTA - Torquay v Aldershot preview - by Tom Kell,
Table-toppers Aldershot visit second-placed Torquay on Monday night, live on Setanta Sports, with the rest of the Blue Square Premier crossing its fingers that The Gulls can claim three points and stop Gary Waddock’s side romping away with automatic promotion.
A weekend win for The Shots and defeat for Torquay left Waddock’s charges eight points clear of their hosts and in pole position to claim the single guaranteed route back to the football league.

The former Queens Park Rangers manager has transformed the side since his arrival, treating The Recreation Ground to a regular treat of free-flowing football, with the emphasis very much on placing trust in the club’s clutch of impressive youngsters.
Waddock will be desperate to see his top-scorer, and one of his elder statesmen John Grant pass a late fitness test on his knee and ankle, with Rob Elvins and new signing Junior Mendes both on standby.
Despite the seemingly season-defining nature of the game, Waddock is determined to convince his players that nothing will be decided on Monday.
"We want to win the game because we want to win every game, but come Monday evening, win, lose or draw, nobody will get promoted and nobody will get relegated," he told the club's official website.
Waddock's Torquay counterpart, Paul Buckle, will be able to call upon Lee Mansell again after the defender’s suspension, although club skipper Steve Woods has staked his own claims at the back during Mansell’s absence.
Prediction: 2-2 - Setanta

Setanta - Coventry vs QPR
Chris Coleman has stressed that results are more important than performances for relegation-threatened Coventry at this stage of the season. The Sky Blues' 2-1 defeat at fellow strugglers Scunthorpe was their seventh successive away loss, plunging the club to within two places and three points off the Championship drop zone.

The City boss has been quick to point out that points are needed quickly - no matter how they arrive.

"Winning games is the priority at the moment but we can't play like we did in the second half at Scunthorpe. I can't accept performances like that," said Coleman, whose side host QPR at the Ricoh Arena on Wednesday night.

"It is all down to confidence because they have become used to losing games and it is hard to get out of that habit.

"But I want to see a group of men who will go into the next game ready to win. Whether we win it in the first minute or the last minute, with a great goal or a lucky goal. I don't care. We just need to win matches.

"We have got games left, but we need a dramatic improvement if we are going to stay in this league." Eurosport
Ref Admits Made Mistake re Sending Off!
BBC - D'Urso admits to red card mistake
Stoke have claimed referee Andy D'Urso has admitted he was wrong to send off Andy Griffin in the 3-0 defeat at QPR.
Stoke's Eddie Harrison told the club's website: "The FA has confirmed the referee has reconsidered after watching the incident again.
"It doesn't automatically mean the ban will be lifted, but the indication that the matter was only worthy of a caution stands us in good stead."
Stoke's claim for wrongful dismissal will be heard by the FA on Tuesday.
Griffin was sent off for a challenge on Hogan Ephraim and immediately after the game manager Tony Pulis revealed he had asked D'Urso to look at the video of the incident.
"I have asked the referee to look at it again and I'm hoping he will realise he's made a mistake," he said.
"If Ephraim had the ball at his feet it would be touch and go. But he was nowhere near it - the ball was out and free.
"(Referee) Andy D'Urso didn't have the best view of it and has agreed to have a look at the video." BBC
