Gregory's Future & Holloway Quip

[Not really news, since that's what Paladini virtually said when John Gregory was appointed.]
Mirror - GREGORY: I'LL KEEP WOLVES FROM DOOR
By Aidan Magee
JOHN GREGORY has been told he will be fired if he fails to keep QPR in the Championship.
Rangers face Wolves - who they have not beaten at home since 1984 - at Loftus Road today on the back of four straight defeats.
Gregory was appointed in September and initially oversaw an upturn in the team's form. But chairman Gianni Paladini has warned his old friend that he will be shown the door if Rangers go down.
Gregory said: "If we are relegated then I'm out - end of. However, I've already identified the players who can get us across the finishing line. We've got a couple of irons in the fire and I'm confident we've got enough about us to survive." Mirror

Holloway Quip - BBC
"... I'm a Hearts fan from Edinburgh and would love to know your opinions on the recent goings on at Tynecastle. Would you ever consider working for an owner like Mr Romanov?
A: I tell you what, it's better than a soap opera up there. That man is making what happened at QPR look boring....

Skysports -Mancienne happy at QPR - By Lewis Rutledge - Created on 15 Dec 2006
Michael Mancienne is eager to extend his stay at Queens Park Rangers. The highly-rated defender has impressed at Loftus Road since joining on loan from Chelsea in October, and has made eight appearances in the Championship so far.
Mancienne is due to return to Chelsea next month but he is not relishing the prospect of slotting back into their reserve side.
He is enjoying life at QPR and believes it would be in his best interests to get more first-team games under his belt.
"I would far rather be playing first-team football than playing for the reserves," he admitted.
"It is a good learning curve, and it is great to have fans watching you, instead of two men and a dog.
"I hope I keep doing well and continue to do good things."
