BBC -Miller pens new Stevenage deal
Stevenage Borough midfielder Adam Miller has signed a new two-year contract with the FA Trophy finalists.
Boro boss Mark Stimson told his club: "He is a player that I think can play at a higher level and he is coming out of contract at the end of the season.
"So for us to re-sign him is a massive boost for the club. Hopefully that sets it up for other players to follow and also re-sign."

UNFINISHED BUSINESS FOR MILLER
With plenty to play for this season manager Mark Stimson is already planning for next season, the first piece in the puzzle this week was re-signing influential midfield player Adam Miller for another two seasons.
“He is a player that I think can play at a higher level and he is coming out of contract at the end of the season, so for us to re-sign him is a massive boost for the club,” Stimson said. “He knows where we want to go and where we want to be and hopefully that sets it up for other players to re-sign, because there are a few out of contract, and also other players that we are talking to, to come and join us. Because if you have signed a player like Adam Miller and you can tell that to other players looking to sign they can only be pleased with that because he is a quality player.”
For Miller himself, he revealed that in the end it was a fairly simple decision to put pen to paper. “It wasn’t really a tough decision,” he said. “There are a few things that you have to consider when you are talking about a new contract but it is really about the basics: if you look at the set-up, how the majority of the fans are to me, how well I feel that I’ve played this year, and the main factor in why I have played so well is the gaffer. He has brought the best out of me, he has great confidence in me and for me to progress as a player as well as a person, I think he is a major factor.”
Miller also feels that if we fail to win promotion this season he has some unfinished business at Broadhall Way. “It is frustrating because you look at how well we have done this year, it is frustrating that we might not get in the play offs – it is not totally in our hands at the moment,” he said.
“It is unfinished business here because there is enough quality in the dressing room, in the management and in the set-up to go into the league and it is just a matter of time before it all explodes and we do this business.”
The first goal on Saturday was ample evidence, if any were needed, of the qualities that make Miller such a valuable footballing commodity. Tenacious in the tackle, he collected the ball in midfield before driving straight through the heart of the Tamworth defence and sliding an exquisite ball into the path of Mitchell Cole. “That is what my game is all about,” he said. “As the gaffer tells me before we go out, ‘keep it simple, play it around them and run, because you have got the energy to run around them, and you can run past any midfield player in this league’.
“I know that I have the confidence to do that and as it was so early in the game it gave me even more confidence to kick on through the game. That is the way I like to play, with aggressive running.”
And with four league matches remaining Miller is confident that the team can do their part by collecting maximum points. “We are more than capable of winning these next four games,” he said. “It is just about us doing what we need to and then waiting to see what the other teams can do.”
