Bristol City's Enoch Shwounmi on Being Rejected by QPR

Enoch Showunmi has revealed how QPR's decision to once turn him down for a pro deal will be inspiring him on Saturday.
Then R's boss Ian Holloway sent scouts to watch Enoch play for his non-league side Willeden & Constatine when he was aged 18.
But despite scoring a hat-trick in the game, the London club never followed up their interest.
Enoch told bcfc.co.uk: "QPR have always been my local team and I like playing against them.
"I had a few links with them before I came into the professional game and you could say I'm a little bit bitter.
"They watched me once when Ian Holloway was the manager. At the time they said I wasn't quite fit enough or maybe even good enough - I thought I was.

"I played against them with Luton and scored a few goals so hopefully on Saturday I'll get to play and can score a few more against them."

Enoch is one of a few City players in the camp with previous Championship experience.

He added: "You need to be on top of your game because it's a good league with some top class players who can punish you if you make a mistake.

"The last time I played in the Championship I was restricted to playing in midfield for the majority of the time.

"Hopefully this time I'll get a run up front and score as many, if not more than I did last season and play more games too.

"We've got a good squad with quality players, almost enough for two separate elevens.

"It'll be good competition and that's only going to spur on the lads for the rest of the season." Bristol City
