TODAY: Martin Allen, turns 42...Andy King turns 51...and Karl Ready turns 35.

Karl Ready turns 35 - QPR's Welsh International Center Half made 200+ appearance for QPR over a decade, making his debutin 1992 before being released after QPR's relegation to the 2nd (read Third) Division in 2001. Career Career II

Martin Allen turns 42, now manager of Leicester and cousin of Clive Allen and Bradley Allen, made his debut as midfielder in 1985. Famously fell out with then manager, Trevor Francis, when he chose to be with his wife for the birth of his child over playing for QPR. Was sold to West Ham....Career

Andy King turns 51 - Goalscoring midfielder, signed by Tommy Docherty in September 1980, with some of the Clive Allen/Paul Goddard money of a then-record 450,000 pounds...The following season, scored in the first three games before QPR's manager, Terry Venables, sold him in September 1981 for about the same fee to West Bromwich Albion (who QPR beat that season in the FA Cup Semi Final semi final) Career

Dave Metchick 14 August 1943 - Joined QPR from Peterbrough in 1968.

With little money to spend to strengthen the team, Santos was signed by Holloway after our promotion "back" to the Championship. Playing in defense and midfield- even attack for two season before being released. Santos also played in England for Tranmere, WBA, Sheffield United, Grimsby and Ipswich.
