Daily Mirror - POMPEY IN COOK HUNT
PORTSMOUTH are the latest club to make a bid for QPR winger Lee Cook. Pompey boss Harry Redknapp has offered £2m - £100,000 more than Fulham put on the table last week in a deal that included teenage striker Ray Jones.
Tottenham, Manchester City and Aston Villa have been watching Cook. QPR have to pay 25 per cent of whatever they get for him to the 24-year-old's former club Watford.
Rangers chairman Gianni Paladini insisted Cook would stay. "Every time I speak to Lee he insists he's happy here," he said. Mirror

Portsmouth have entered the race for in-demand Queens Park Rangers winger Lee Cook.
Harry Redknapp has already been busy in the transfer market since the end of the season but is looking to bring in further reinforcements this summer.
Redknapp has yet to make his interest public but reports suggest he has already made a £2million bid to QPR.
Fulham are understood to have made an offer of £1.9million for Cook last week, which QPR rejected.
Tottenham, Manchester City and Aston Villa have also been linked with the player, who last week conceded there was a good chance he could leave Loftus Road.
However, QPR chairman Gianni Paladini remains confident of keeping Cook.
Paladini claims he is in regular contact with Cook and has been given no reason to doubt his commitment to the club.
"Every time I speak to Lee he insists he's happy here," Paladini told the Daily Mirror.
