Watford Observer/Frank Smith -QPR's Heidar Helguson will have scan to see if he can make Reading
- Heidar Helguson will have an MRI scan tomorrow to see if there is a chance he can make this weekend’s clash with Reading.
- Helguson marked his return for the Hornets against Leicester City with two goals during a 36-minute cameo.
- But the QPR striker limped off with a calf injury on 81 minutes and left Vicarage Road on crutches.
- This afternoon, his manager Malky Mackay said: “Tomorrow we are going to have Heidar scanned to find out what sort of damage there is. We are working extensively with him to try and get him ready for the weekend but we will know further tomorrow after his scan.
- “He came in this morning and was working well with the physios but the scan will help us know exactly where we are.” Watford Observer
