Dave Jones spoke on Monday of the need to get Ninian Park rocking on Friday night. With the game live on sky the Bluebirds boss has called to City supporters to turn up in their droves and show the league what we're all about.
He said, "With the game set to be televised live on Sky, some of our regular supporters may decided to watch the game on TV. The only problem for us in that situation is that we, and just as importantly our opposition can't hear them at home or in the pub. We need to keep Ninian Park the fortress it has been this season and the support we receive will play a big part in that. Friday will be no exception.
"I would hope that as mant Cardiff City supporters as possible will come to the game on Friday night and help us to try to secure three valuable points against a tough team. QPR will come here ahead of the weekend hoping that many of our numbers will opt to watch the game indoors - as a result making the venue less intimidating than they know it can be." "So far this season we are undefeated at home and the large crowds and atmosphere have played a big part in our success. We need to continue with our bumper crowds and to recreate the atmosphere we have had so far.
"The players have loved the support both home and away this season, and long may that continue. So we really everyone to do their part on Friday night. We hope that as many of our fans as possible come to the game and get the place rocking."
