Stefan Moore Coming Home

-
VALIANTS MAY GO BACK FOR MOORE
The Sentinel - November 1, 2006

Port Vale have ended Stefan Moore's loan spell from QPR - but could try to borrow the striker again later this month.Moore has been with the Valiants for two months, but manager Martin Foyle called time on the deal as Moore is unlikely to feature in the next couple of weeks.
The striker has an ankle problem, although QPR wouldn't have allowed him to play against Lincoln in the FA Cup next week anyway.
Foyle is only allowed to keep Moore for three months before the January transfer window and doesn't want to waste the final month with Moore on the sidelines.
Moore's chances of returning to Vale Park could depend on whether Foyle is successful in his search for another loan striker.
The manager was hoping for an answer on a deal today and is also keen on adding a midfielder to his squad.
He is set to discuss Moore's future with new QPR boss John Gregory, but would only try to take Moore again if the player is fully fit.
He added: "Stefan has to prove his fitness. He is suffering from deep bone bruising, but we will push him hard.
"But if in another two weeks he was no better, then there would be no point taking him then.
"We will have to wait and see on that one."
Foyle is desperate for a striker as Nathan Lowndes is out with a back problem and Michael Husbands aggravated a stomach muscle injury in Monday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at Scunthorpe...
