QPR have reached agreement with Chelsea to extend the loan deal of midfield starlet Jimmy Smith by a further two months.
The two month extension ensures Smith will remain at Loftus Road until Wednesday 27th December.
Gaffer John Gregory could hardly hide his delight at the news, telling www.qpr.co.uk: "I'm delighted that Chelsea have given us permission to take him for a further two months.
"He's been fantastic for us in the last four weeks and I'm confident that we'll see more of the same in the next two months.
"He's a great character to have around the place. His professionalism is second to none and it's rubbing off on all the other lads in the squad.
"He sets such high standards of himself and that can only be good for Queens Park Rangers Football Club.''
Gregory added: "We feel very honoured to have a player of his class and potential at the Club.
"He's uncomplicated, goes about his job in the right manner and will only go from strength to strength in the next eight weeks or so.''
England Under-19 international Smith has flourished since his move to W12, scoring two goals in six appearances from a central midfield berth.
