Chairman wants £10m for Cook

QPR chairman Gianni Paladini has warned that clubs tracking Lee Cook must stump up a record £10m fee to prise the winger away....
Speaking to the Times, Paladini insisted: "I tell you, the asking price is £10m if anyone wants to get Lee Cook.
"There are several clubs after him and we know that people have been scouting him because he's playing so well this season.

"But I want to make this clear - we persuaded Lee to sign a new contract with us because we want to keep him at the club and it's the same with Martin Rowlands.
"Maybe nobody will give me credit for this, but I felt it was one of the most important pieces of business we had to do in the summer."...
Rowlands, who also signed a new two-year deal recently, has been touted in the national press for a January move to Reading, managed by his former Brentford boss Steve Coppell.
Meanwhile, Paladini also revealed that the club may be forced to sell teenage striker Ray Jones after failing to persuade him to sign a professional contract.
The 18-year-old - who has scored three times for the first team this season - is on a scholarship deal with Rangers until next summer and has rejected four separate contract offers so far.
