- Queens Park Rangers Football Club is pleased to announce a new five-year, seven figure catering deal with Azure Catering, part of the Elior Group.
- The partnership, which runs until the end of the 2013/14 season, will see Azure Catering - the premier Stadia, Sports and Leisure catering and hospitality specialist - provide internal and external catering at Loftus Road, both on matchdays and non-matchdays.
- The new caterers will be aiming to build upon the already high standards of catering that are in place at Loftus Road, as well as being responsible for marketing and selling the stadium's catering for non-matchday usage.
- QPR Deputy MD, Ali Russell, said: "We were inundated with interest for the new catering contract, but we believe we have made an excellent choice with Azure.
- "This deal was the best one for QPR, both financially, and just as importantly, for the level of service on offer to our supporters.
- "We were highly impressed with their innovative approach to public catering, as well as their ability to develop our executive offering, and maximise the usage of Loftus Road on non-matchdays.
- "We were also very impressed with their partnership approach and their desire to invest in the future of QPR."
- As part of the deal, award winning Elior Chef, Rory Thompson, will oversee the catering, alongside experienced Catering and Sales Manager, Louise Herridge.

- "Securing a contract to cater to a stadium of this size has real strategic importance to us, as we continue to focus on building our business in the South East and with leading football stadia.
- "With our passion, dedication and expertise we look forward to meeting the high standards demanded by a stadium such as QPR."
- He added: "QPR are a five star brand with five star facilities and as five star caterers, we are relishing the opportunity to produce some outstanding food concepts at Loftus Road.
- "Our desire for change and improvement is born out of our aim to improve the overall matchday experience on offer to QPR supporters going forward." QPR
Press Release - Ticketmaster and Queens Park Rangers Extend Ticketing Deal
- "Ticketmaster, a Ticketmaster Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:TKTM) company, is pleased to announce it has signed a new contract extension with Queens Park Rangers Football Club. As part of the deal Ticketmaster will be providing QPR with its access control system AccessManager and TicketFast(R) technology.
- Ticketmaster will install its well-established access control system, AccessManager, at Loftus Road Stadium. AccessManager will allow QPR to utilise and coordinate all of their ticketing services, providing an innovative and complete ticketing solution. Instead of a season ticket voucher book, QPR Season Ticket holders will receive bar coded season cards to access the stadium. Additionally, when season ticket holders purchase tickets for other QPR matches at Loftus Road, their bar coded season card can be automatically updated to admit them. - AccessManager also allows QPR's fans to take full advantage of Ticketmaster's TicketFast(R) ticketing. Supporters who book seats online will be able to print their TicketFast(R) tickets at home and present them at turnstiles, providing a simplified booking and access process.
- Chris Edmonds, Managing Director, Ticketmaster UK, said: "We are excited by the opportunity to extend our already excellent relationship with Queens Park Rangers Football Club. The introduction of our AccessManager system at Loftus Road will give the club enhanced access control whilst allowing them to take advantage of our TicketFast(R) ticketing technology.
