QPR will travel to The County Ground, home of Swindon Town, in the first round of the Carling Cup.
Today's draw pitted Iain Dowie's men against their League One opponents, in a tie scheduled to be played during the week commencing Monday 11th August 2008.
Maurice Malpas' side finished 13th in the third tier last season, with 61 points from their 46 League One fixtures.
The last time the two Clubs met was in May 2004, when Martin Rowlands bagged the only goal of the game in a 1-0 victory for the R's.

However one snippet: The clubs actually receive the draw at 9:45 am...So if anyone leaks this information early.... Last Year's Seeding: So Probably QPR will be playing one of these 18 teams
