Not including, of course, Zamora, Cook and Watson rumours.
Kaspar Gorkss --- Blackpool Gazette
"Queens Park Rangers told The Gazette that they are yet to receive any response from the Seasiders following their bid for defender Kaspars Gorkss.
The London club have not revealed the transfer fee they offered on Thursday, though £250,000 would be enough to activate the release clause in the Latvian's contract." Blackpool Gazette
Ched Evans --- The People - HOTLINE - CHED OF QUEUE
Striker Ched Evans could be on his way out of Manchester City - with Iain Dowie's free-spending QPR in pole position.
Evans, 19, was a success in a loan spell with Norwich City in the Championship and Dowie wants him to do the same at Loftus Road.
He will know his fate soon when new boss Mark Hughes settles in at the City of Manchester Stadium, but the signs are he could be allowed to go to West London.
Evans may head out for a season-long loan although Rangers are prepared to buy him if they are given any encouragement. The People
Marius Nicluae ---- Scotland on Sunday/Ewan Murray - Niculae poised to turn down £800,000 deal
DINAMO Bucharest's hopes of luring Marius Niculae back to Romania in an £800,000 close season deal may be ruined by the fact the player is not keen to return to his homeland before the final stages of his career.
Dinamo officials are believed to have verbally informed their counterparts at Inverness Caledonian Thistle that the substantial bid will be forthcoming after Niculae's participation with Romania at Euro 2008 ends. However, the 27-year-old striker, who started his career with Dinamo, is hoping to remain in Britain or move to Portugal before returning home. Sporting Lisbon, another of Niculae's former clubs, have also intimated an interest while Watford and QPR are among other potential suitors.
Niculae scored eight SPL goals in his debut season in the Highlands, with his form impressive enough to earn a recall to the national team, and the player has appeared as a substitute in both of Romania's Euro 2008 games so far.... Scotland on Sunday
Dani Parejo ---- Tribal Football - QPR aim to beat Arsenal for Real Madrid's Parejo
QPR have made contact with Real Madrid for young prospect Dani Parejo.
Marca says Flavio Briatore is using his contacts at Real to discuss a deal for Parejo, who is also a target for Arsenal.
However, Real are reluctant to send Parejo away next season - and if they are to, would prefer he join a Spanish Liga rival. Tribal Football
Paul Gallagher ---- Sunday Mail - Gallo wants a Rovers lifeline
SCOT Paul Gallagher has vowed to have one last crack at salvaging his Blackburn career when the club's new manager takes over.
The striker, sent out on loan to Stoke and Preston in recent seasons, still has two years of his Rovers contract to run.
QPR, Preston and Nottingham Forest are desperate to sign Gallagher but he is determined to stay at Ewood and try to impress whoever is appointed Mark Hughes' successor.
The 23-year-old said: "It just didn't work out for me under Hughes but I want to give it one last try at Blackburn with the new manager.
"Hopefully it will be a fresh start at Ewood but if not a few Championship clubs want me. I also wouldn't rule out a move back to Scotland." Sunday Mail
Wes Hoolahan ---- QPR also supposedly interested
EDP24 QPR lining up bid for Hoolahan
Norwich's potential Blackpool recruit Wes Hoolahan is reportedly a £375,000 target for Championship rivals QPR.
Big spending Rangers' boss Iain Dowie has already launched an undisclosed bid for Seasiders' team mate Kaspars Gorkss. Dowie is now ready to also trigger a similar release clause in Republic of Ireland international Hoolahan's current Bloomfield Road contract.
Charlton chief Alan Pardew is a confirmed admirer of the 26-year-old but any Championship bidding war could end up mired in red tape with Hoolahan's move to Blackpool from previous club Livingston still the subject of a legal wrangle involving Fifa.
In June 2007, Hoolahan signed a two-year contract with Blackpool but Livingston refused to sign the documentation sanctioning the move, stating that Blackpool had repeatedly breached the terms of an initial loan agreement between the clubs.
Blackpool denied they had defaulted on payments relating to Hoolahan's loan move and referred the matter to the Football Association. With Livingston being backed by the Scottish Football Association the matter was passed to Fifa for a decision to be made on the player's future.
In August last year Fifa ruled in Blackpool's favour, thus confirming Hoolahan as a Blackpool player. Fifa are still to decide the fee to be paid, or if Livingston are entitled to any compensation and while this is still on-going Blackpool cannot sell Hoolahan.
Maurice Smith, a member of the Livingston board at the time Hoolahan made his Blackpool switch, is adamant until Fifa make a final decision the Dublin-born player must stay at Bloomfield Road.
He explained: “The final decision on whether any compensation should be paid by Blackpool to Livingston over and above the sum that they have already paid is still with Fifa. My understanding is that until Fifa come to a conclusion Blackpool can't sell Hoolahan unless they settle something with Livingston, so it's not as clear cut as a typical transfer.”
The West Lothian side are understood to want a fee in the region of £250,000, while Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston has stated he would not be willing to pay a penny more than the £75,000 the club already handed to Livingston.
A Blackpool club official said: “It's something we are not going to comment on. As far as we are concerned he is still a Blackpool player. It's still on-going with Fifa and we have no further comment to make on it.” EDP24
