- Given his debut as a 17 year old, by Tommy Docherty, in September 1979 - in our first season after Steve Burtenshaw took QPR down. (A QPR team which was also giving games to Clive Allen and Paul Goddard and others). His coaching and managerial career at QPR ended within weeks of John Gregory replacing him as manager.
