101 Great Goals -White Hart Loan II: Highlights of Tottenham’s Adel Taarabt (QPR) vs Swansea
Friday, March 20th, 2009

Earlier in the week we brought you highlights of Adel Taarabat’s first game for QPR since leaving Tottenham on loan, and now we are pleased to bring you footage from the 19-year-old Moroccan’s home debut for Rangers against Swansea midweek.

Compared to his run out at St. Mary’s (new highlights can be seen here), at Loftus Road Taarabt shined. Taarabt was voted man of the match under the watchful eye of Harry Redknapp, who was in attendance in the stands, as his fancy footwork was a constant threat against the Welshmen who were repeatedly bamboozled by the teenagers twinkle toes. Taarabt played on the left side of QPR’s midfield diamond, but was often seen drifting into a more central role given the opportunity.

Mikele Leigertwood was the match winner, netting the only goal to move Rangers within seven points of the Championship’s top six.

Highlights of QPR’s win over Swansea, with a heavy focus on the contribution of Taarabt, can be seen here. - 101 Great Goals
