Dexter Blackstock and Pat Kanuyka Returned to the Field as a very young QPR Reerve Team played Crystal Palace
QPR Official Site: IN RESERVE
First team duo Dexter Blackstock and Pat Kanyuka returned to action, as the R's second string shared the spoils with London rivals Crystal Palace on Tuesday evening.
Blackstock returned after a seven-week spell on the sidelines with a knee injury to lead the side, while Kanyuka made his first appearance in seven months following a thigh problem.
Both players got 45 minutes under their belts in an entertaining draw, which saw Rangers take the lead through Romone Rose's 53rd minute strike, before Palace drew level midway through the second half courtesy of substitute Keiron Thorpe's close-range header.
Blackstock was back in the groove almost immediately on his comeback from a lengthy absence.
Chris Arthur's third minute free-kick was flighted to the back post and the R's ....

Blackstock - Icons Diary - Luigi's not lost in translation
I'm now back into full training following the surgery to my knee. I'm feeling really good. It's the best I've felt for a while because it has been niggling me.
The international break has given me the chance to work on my fitness. I really want to be available for the Sheffield Wednesday match on Saturday. We've only lost one of our last seven games so I'm itching to get back and help that run continue.
Our form is picking up just at the right time as we move towards the Christmas period. The last thing you want is to be astray when all those games come along. The new manager seems clear about what he wants and that's good.
It's been interesting under the new gaffer Luigi de Canio. His sessions have been very focused.
I was pleased for Scott Sinclair scoring our goal in the 1-1 draw with Palace last week. He's come in on loan from Cheslea and done well straight away. We all know what a talented player he is. He'll be a big help in the next month or so.
He seems a very nice lad with a good head on his shoulders. He's young but he's already had a lot of good first team experience at Plymouth. He's learning all the time. It's good to get another goal-scorer in the team.
We deserved to beat Palace. We played some nice passing football. But for the second time in a row we let in a late goal. That's something we've got to stop. We need to hold onto points when we have them.
It's a shame Marcus Bignot has gone out on loan to Millwall. He's a big character at the club. Biggy's been a great pro and it's always good having someone like that around the place. But you can understand he wanted to play games, so he's taken the opportunity to do that.
It's been interesting under the new gaffer Luigi de Canio. His sessions have been very focused. Even though he doesn't speak English he makes it very clear what he wants. Anyway, football's a universal language and I don't see too many problems there.
There's a lot of confidence and ambition at the club. We'll soon see that reflected in our league position. Icons
