Plymouth Herald - BUZSAKY CAN PLAY AGAINST PILGRIMS
Former Argyle midfielder Akos Buzsaky is free to play for his new club Queens Park Rangers against the Pilgrims in the Championship at Home Park on Boxing Day.The Hungarian international made a two-month 'emergency' loan move to the west London club a fortnight ago.
But Buzsaky will officially complete a £500,000 transfer from Argyle at the start of January, after agreeing a two-and-a-half year contract with QPR.
And there is no clause in the deal preventing him from playing against Argyle on Boxing Day.
Holloway admitted: "If Akos plays for QPR I will be desperate to beat him and beat them.
"If he was just on loan, I would have put a clause in there that he couldn't play against us, but these deals are already done.
"I think you will find in January that people will be quite happy when they see what we have managed to do.
"Instead of a Tony Capaldi situation we have managed to do a new thing - an Akos Buzsaky situation, which is much more beneficial for my club."
As well as Buzsaky, Holloway's former club QPR have also taken winger Scott Sinclair on a one-month loan from Chelsea.
Sinclair, 18, had a successful three-month loan spell with the Pilgrims last season.
He scored his first goal for QPR in the 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace on Saturday, when he headed home a cross from Buzsaky.
Holloway said: "When I was there, I was never allowed to sign most of the players I wanted.
"Now I have had some good ones (at Argyle), they seem to be snapping them all up. Isn't it quite funny?"
The deadline for 'emergency' loan signings is 5pm on Thursday, November 22. After that time, no player movement will be allowed until the transfer window reopens on January 1.... " Plymouth Herald
Clive Wilson, who played for QPR from 1990-1995 before moving on to Spurs, turns 46.
Born November 13, 1961. Signed by Don Howe from Chelsea in the Summer of 1990 for £450,000, primarily as a midfielder. Converted into a (Brilliant) fullback, and alongside QPR's other converted fullback, David Bardsley did a brilliant job for Gerry Francis and Ray Wilkins. Many feel QPR's relegation was in large part due to his being allowed to join Spurs on a free transfer in June 1995. Clive Wilson's Stats Sporting Hero. OXFORD OFFICIAL SITE - Bailey returns to Rangers
Midfielder Stefan Bailey has returned to QPR after his month's loan.
The 20 year old made five appearances for The U's but his loan ended after Saturday's FA Cup win over Northwich Victoria.
United had asked to extend the loan but with QPR under new management Bailey has decided to return to Loftus Road to try and impress and gain a first team place under new boss Luigi Di Canio
United manager Darren Patterson told us:
"Stefan is a good lad and has been a credit to himself and to his club. He certainly looks to have a bright future and has played his heart out for us, but we understand his decision and appreciate the honest way he has dealt with the situation. We hope it works out for him back at QPR." Oxford

Oxford MAIL Smith still has big role for U's - By Jon Murray
Jim Smith says he will still be heavily involved at Oxford United, despite having handed over the managerial reins to Darren Patterson.
Smith stepped down last week after 20 months as U's boss, as 38-year-old Ulsterman Patterson took charge of the team.
Smith, who is staying on as a full-time director, intends to give his successor as much help as he can in his new job.
While Patto will be in charge of everything to do with preparing the team for matches, and the selection of players and tactics, Smith will be around to offer advice and make use of the contacts he has built up during five decades in the game.
The Bald Eagle was certainly a busy man yesterday.
He said: "There's a lot of things I'm going to be involved in, it'll be a very varied job. I'll be helping Darren as much as possible."
Smith will also be looking at ways of trying to bring money into the club.
It appears United's FA Cup second-round tie against League One high-fliers Southend United is going to be overlooked by the TV companies for live screening.
But Smith is hoping satellite broadcasters Setanta will show a strong interest in screening their glamorous international friendly against Guinea at the Kassam Stadium on January 8.
"I've already spoken to Trevor Easton at Setanta regarding that game," Smith said.
