- Wise has held talks with co-owner Flavio Briatore and chairman Gianni Paladini and is expected to be installed at Loftus Road within the next 48 hours.
- The Championship club have acted quickly to find a replacement for the sacked Paulo Sousa.
- Former Millwall and Leeds manager Wise left his controversial role as a football director at Newcastle United following the appointment of Alan Shearer last week.
