Plymouth Official Site - Holloway on GALLEN
KEVIN Gallen introduced himself to the Home Park faithful with the first goal and a superb all-round display in the 3-2 Championship win over Coventry City.
Argyle manager Ian Holloway was delighted with the contribution of his new signing in difficult weather conditions.
He said: "He is a good player and a good fella.
"He is getting fitter, has a great brain and can play absolutely anywhere, and I thought it showed in those conditions where you have got to know what you are doing."

PLYMOUTH OFFICIAL Site - THE WINNING HABIT
ARGYLE picked up their third successive win in the space of nine days in tonight's 3-2 Championship win over Coventry City at Home Park.
Goals from home debutant Kevin Gallen, magical Magyar Akos Buzsaky and captain Barry Hayles gave the Pilgrims a deserved win on a cold and blustery night in Plymouth.
Manager Ian Holloway was delighted with the performance of his team, especially with Gallen being joined in the new faces department by Hungarian winger Peter Halmosi and second-half substitutes Scott Sinclair and Rory Fallon.
"Winning is a very good habit and from the first minute I felt we would win tonight," said Holloway....
Holloway feels safe in the knowledge that he will be given time to improve his players because of the solid backing given to him by Argyle chairman Paul Stapleton.
It is in stark contrast to tonight's visitors, who sacked manager Micky Adams last week after less than two years in charge of the Sky Blues.
Holloway said: "I know I will be given time unlike some clubs because my chairman is rock solid.
"He never puts on any pressure and a few other people should ring him and ask how he does it. I know will be given time to work with theses players, get the quality of my staff right, which I have done, and I will get the facilities right."
"These players know that we will work with them and I am expecting them to get better and expecting to see more of the wonderful goals that we are starting to see."
