Southampton's Perspective - Official Site
Saints will be out to avenge their only home defeat of the season as they travel to Loftus Road today.
QPR are the only side to have won at St Mary's since the start of the campaign and Jermaine Wright is determined to put that right.
The Southampton midfielder scored his first goal for the club to put them in front in that 2-1 defeat and now he is aiming to settle that score.
He said: "They are the only team to have beaten us at home and we owe them one for that.
"It is up to us to go there and take the game to them, attack them and put them on the back foot.
"We need to make up a bit of ground after being held at home by Burnley last week when we let ourselves and the fans down from the standards we have set recently.
"We felt that game was there for the taking and although we looked comfortable in possession, we did not create many chances.
"It was a bit like that for us at the start of the season but we came good and hopefully the same will happen again.
"We are on a good unbeaten run but have drawn four of our last five which has cost us ground.
"It looks good to be unbeaten but personally I would rather lose one and then win one or two because that gives you more points.
"We have drawn too many and if you do that then you don't move anywhere. But if we can string a few victories together then it will lift us right up."
Saints will have the backing of more than 3,000 fans for their shortest away trip of the season and Wright believes that could be crucial.
He added: "The supporters have been brilliant and it will be great to see so many of them there. Hopefully we can give them something to cheer and make it a good day out for them."
Saints will be up against their former striker Dexter Blackstock but Wright laughed: "We have got a plan for him - we'll just kick him!
"He is a good lad and it won't bother me if he scores - as long as we win."

Southampton
This weekend The Saints travel to Loftus Road to take on Queens Park Rangers. The last time these two teams met Saints lost the match 2-1. Can they turn this round?
The Saints have remained unbeaten in their last seven games, can they win this one to make it eight in a row? A win now could see them up at 4th place in the table. If you think they can do it a £10 bet on Saints to win could win you £23.50.
If you think they can reverse last times score then a £10 bet on Saints to win 2-1 could earn you £80. Are you more confident then that, do you think they can seal an even more convincing victory? In that case a £10 bet on Saints to win 3-1 could payback £180. Southampton
