Other clubs often/occasionally come up with ideas QPR could emulate. Here is one from Birmingham City.
Birmingham Official Site NEW SHARING MEMORIES WEBSITE LAUNCHES TODAY
Sharing MemoriesBirmingham City FC is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new website especially designed for our fans. The site called 'Sharing Memories' will be open to all Blues supporters who want to get more involved with the club and fellow Bluenoses.
On the Sharing Memories website you can upload any Blues related photos you may have; whether it be your holiday snaps, shots of you and your family at a match, or any photo at all that reminds you of happy times you have shared at St. Andrew's or on your travels with the club. Plus the site will feature fantastic competitions for you to enter including a new 'Face in the Crowd' competition where we randomly highlight one person in a chosen photo after each home match. If you are the highlighted person, and you recognise yourself, all you have to do is write in and tell us that it's you and you will win a prize!
As well as the different photo sections we have also created a 'Have your Say' page on the site where we are asking you to write in and tell us what they think. So whether you want to write and ask us a question or suggest an idea to us this will be your forum to do so. The club will be looking at all comments made and answering accordingly, where appropriate.
From noon today you can log on at www.bluesmemories.com to have a sneak preview of the brand new site. We are currently adding the final touches to the website so you will not be able to register and begin adding photos just yet, but as soon as the site is up and running you will hear it here first..." BBC- Ledesma is set to flourish - Hall
QPR centre-back Fitz Hall has tipped summer signing Emmanuel Ledesma to flourish in the Championship.
Hall, who scored twice in the 2-1 opening-day win against Barnsley, says Ledesma will not be overawed by the physical nature of the division.
"We were worried he might get a few kicks in the Championship but he dealt with that," Hall told BBC London.
"From day one when he came into training there were little cheeky nutmegs and stuff like that."
The 20-year-old Argentinian, who is on loan from Italian side Genoa, produced the free-kick that led to Hall's first goal against Barnsley, a game in which Real Madrid loanee Daniel Parejo was also handed his debut.
Ledesma was praised for his performance and ability at set-pieces but Hall said the club are prepared for their foreign imports to struggle at times this season.
"If you come to a new club it's going to be a change. I'm sure they'll need time to settle in but the players are here to help them do that," said Hall. BBC

Plymouth Herald - Barker makes dramatic bow
CHRIS BARKER will not forget his debut for Plymouth Argyle in a hurry.
It came as the Pilgrims opened the new Championship season with a 2-2 draw against Wolves at a rain-soaked Home Park on Saturday.
Barker, 28, only put pen to paper for Argyle that morning.
The left-back was then named in the starting line-up by manager Paul Sturrock.
But Barker's debut for Argyle almost did not happen.
The former Queens Park Rangers defender was about to run onto the pitch at Home Park when referee Kevin Friend spotted he had a ring on one of his fingers.
Under new Football League rules this season, players are not allowed to wear any jewellery.
The problem was that Barker could not remove the ring which had been given to him by his father, Mel, shortly before he died.
Drastic action was needed, and that was exactly what happened.
Jim Paterson, who was among Argyle's substitutes, was told to go out onto the pitch instead of Barker.
Paterson shook hands with the Wolves players as the teams lined up in front of the Grandstand before the kick-off.
But, in the meantime, a hacksaw was found and Barker's ring was forcibly removed, leaving a cut on his finger.
He then had time to run out onto the pitch, and Paterson was not needed after all.
"I have got a nice scar on my finger," said Barker, who was signed on loan from QPR so he could play against Wolves.
However, Barker has agreed a three-year contract with Argyle, who will pay Rangers an 'undisclosed' transfer fee for the experienced defender.
He certainly showed commitment to his new club on Saturday.
He said: "The rules have changed now. You are not allowed to have rings on, so with one minute to go we had to saw it off."
The ring had special sentimental value to Sheffield-born Barker.
He said: "It was given to me by my Dad seven years ago before he passed away but, hopefully, we can mend it again.
"One of the lads cut it off, but I'm not sure who it was to be honest.
"Jim Paterson was told to warm up because there was literally 10 seconds to go, so it was good preparation for me really!"
Sturrock revealed Steve MacLean and Jason Puncheon had removed the ring.
He said: "I thought they were going to take his finger off as well. They eventually got it off, but they cut him.
"Jim was on the pitch just as a precaution in case we couldn't get the ring off.
"I find it a zany rule, but it's a rule for everybody. No jewellery is allowed to be worn at all.
"His ring is now half-a-ring."
Sturrock continued: "I would never have believed that anybody would make up a rule where eventually a hacksaw has to be used on somebody's finger.
"The rule now is black and white. You are not allowed one piece of jewellery on your body.
"It has to come off – even if the finger comes off with it.
"It defies logic to me, but that's the rule. The referee was standing there saying, 'He can't go on; he can't go on'.
"Thankfully, we hacksawed it off eventually."
Barker signed for QPR in June 2007, after being released by Cardiff City, and made a total of 26 appearances for them.
He had spent all of the 2006/07 season on loan to Colchester United from Cardiff.
Barker was at Barnsley for three years before he was bought by Cardiff for £600,000 in July 2002. Plymouth Herald

"...[Lewes Manager] Keehan revealed trialist Shabazz Baidoo, formerly of Queens Park Rangers, had been recommended to him by Danny Cullip. Baidoo played the second half against Havant on Saturday.
"I have seen a little bit of him but I'd like to see a little bit more.
"He did enough against Havant for me to maybe want to see more.
"I've had a couple of chats with him and I'm still talking to him.
"At the moment it's just if I can raise any more money really. At the moment we'll go with the players we've got.
"Taylor and Standing think we can finish half-way"
"I'm aware that we probably need one more player. Whether that's Shabazz or someone else I don't know. But we'll go and play Saturday and possibly Tuesday with what we've got and see how things are after that." Shabbaz Baidoo - Sussex Express
