"Championship side QPR are considering a bid for Nikola Kalinic of Hajduk Split.
The 20 year-old is highly rated by Croatian national team coach Slaven Bilic, who has called him ''the future of Croatian football''
After a couple of loan spells he came back to Hadjuk and has scored 19 goals in just 28 appearances for the first team. For the Croatia national teams he has an even better record, from the U17s to the U21s, he has scored 30 goals in 35 games." This is Derbyshire

Triallists out in force as Reserves down U's
Tony Thorpe was back in a Luton Town shirt yesterday as he played 60 minutes in the Hatters' 2-1 reserve victory over Colchester United's second string.
The 34-year-old veteran striker was vilified by some Town fans for moving to QPR back in August 2003, but recently told The Luton News that he still believes he can cut it at League level despite receiving an insurance pay out after damaging a cornea.
Hatters boss Mick Harford said: "He hasn't done a lot of training. He has been involved in a lot of small-sided games and other aspects of training. To play a competitive game is different.
"It's good to have a proper look at him. We will just keep an eye on him over the next few weeks and see how it progresses."
However, Harford admitted he would probably be given another chance to impress in a further reserve team game.
Out of favour striker Dean Morgan scored twice for Luton, while former Walsall, Port Vale and QPR striker Stefan Moore was given a trial on the right wing.
Young triallist keeper David Knight, who has played for Swansea, Oldham and Darlington, was also given a go in goal.
Other notable names to figure in the Luton line-up were Bristol Rovers loan star Joshua Klein-Davies, Kevin Watson, Ian Roper, Jake Howells and Ed Asafu-Adjaye.

Echo News/Rob Pricthard - Irons pair return after long absences
NIGEL Quashie and James Collins both made successful comebacks from injury as West Ham United drew 2-2 with Queen's Park Rangers in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
As exclusively revealed by the Echo on Tuesday morning, the pair each completed 45 minutes for Kevin Keen's Irons before being replaced at half-time at Upton Park.
Midfielder Quashie has not played a first team match since injuring his foot during the second half of the Hammers' 4-3 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on March 4, 2007.
Wales international central defender Collins, meanwhile, has been out of action since suffering a knee ligament injury in a reserve team match against Portsmouth in January.
“If you think about it, neither of them has played a full match for quite some considerable time,” reserve team manager Keen told whufc.com “That was their first 45 minutes and they have both come through it OK.”
West Ham took a two-goal lead thanks to a three-minute brace from Luis Boa Morte mid-way through the first half.
However, Rangers mounted a stirring comeback.
Former England Under-19 winger Hogan Ephraim scored the Super Hoops' first goal just before half-time before Matteo Alberti's penalty ensured the shares were spoiled.
The match also saw new signing Jan Lastuvka, the Czech goalkeeper, play his first home game for the club, while Lee Bowyer continued his comeback from a groin injury.
And Keen said Bowyer and goal-scorer Boa Morte were the outstanding players on the Boleyn Ground pitch.
“I thought Lee and Luis were the best two players on the pitch by a distance,” said the boss.
“They were both very good and their attitude and fitness was good. 'Bow' created a lot of things.
“Luis scored two so it was a good run-out for us.
“We got what we wanted out of it.” Echo News
