QPR Play Leeds Tomorrow

-
News Updates re Tomorrow's QPR vs Leeds Game

Sporting Life - STRIKER PROBLEMS MOUNTING FOR RANGERS

QPR have problems in attack as they prepare for their first home game of the season against Leeds on Tuesday night.
Boss Gary Waddock is without striker Paul Furlong (thigh) for the match, while Kevin Gallen and Marc Nygaard are still struggling with injuries picked up during pre-season.
Their absence means Rangers are likely to stick with the 4-5-1 formation they used in the 2-0 defeat at Burnley, with summer signing Adam Czerkas operating as a lone striker.
Midfielder Egutu Oliseh is set to miss out with a thigh injury, and defender Dominic Shimmin serves the second game of a three-match ban.

Championship by Mike Brewer

LEEDS UNITED rate banker material at general odds of 5-4 to claim their second win in four days of the new Coca-Cola Championship season by winning away to Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday evening, one of a full programme of midweek matches in football’s second tier.

Leeds fell at the final hurdle last season when losing to Watford in the play-off final but should prove too strong for a QPR side that was in freefall at the end of last term and which sold their prize asset, defender Danny Shittu, at the weekend.

Having lost six of their final seven league games last season, QPR went down 2-0 away to Burnley on Saturday. Leeds beat Norwich City 1-0.
