Jewish Chronicle - Sahar and agent split November 2 By Simon Griver
QPR’s on-loan striker Ben Sahar has parted company with super-agent Pini Zahavi.
The player’s mother Batya Sahar said: “Pini is a great agent but to our regret he is a one man show. We think that mistakes have been made because there is no day-to-day handling of Ben. The decision to separate was mutual.”
The Israeli teenager is expected to sign an agreement with an English agent in the coming days.
In an acrimonious response, Zahavi revealed: “I’m prepared to be Ben Sahar’s agent but not his mother’s. He can succeed but not with a mother like that.”
The move comes with the 18-year-old’s career seemingly in freefall. After making three appearances for Chelsea as a substitute and becoming the youngest ever player to score for Israel last season, he has spent the majority of the current campaign on the bench for the Championship strugglers.
Batya said: “Ben is a Chelsea player. If things do not work out there are plenty of other Premiership club interested in him.” Jewish Chronicle
Ealing Gazette/Yann Tear - Chairman has 'no fears' over De Canio
Chairman full of bluster over impact he expects Luigi to make at Loftus Road
GIANNI Paladini has told the Gazette he does not think there is any risk attached to importing Itallian Luigi de Canio to take over the QPR hotseat.
The Rangers chairman expressed his total confidence in the club's decision to appoint a man with no experience of the English league who does not yet speak English.
In tomorrow's edition of the newspaper, you can find out what else the chairman has to say about the man brought in to replace John Gregory - and why the players will have had heavy hearts in training this week..... Ealing Gazette
Teamtalk - Shimmin wants chance to shine
QPR defender Dominic Shimmin is hoping to take advantage of a clean slate at Loftus Road following the arrival of Luigi De Canio.
The centre-half has made only a handful of appearances for Rangers in two years, due largely to a host of injury setbacks, but he is currently fit and got a run-out for the reserves under the watchful eye of the new boss in midweek.
"I've been okay so far this season and hopefully I can maintain that," he said.
"I've been in the last two squads but not made the bench, but hopefully I impressed for the reserves. I want a chance to show everyone at QPR what I can do." Teamtalk

BBC - Rushden & Diamonds 5-0 Oxford
Simeon Jackson's double guided Rushden to a convincing win over woeful Oxford.
Rushden were 3-0 ahead inside the opening quarter of an hour thanks to a low shot from Jackson, Matt Day's own goal and a Craig McAllister lob.

Just past the hour Rushden got their fifth when Jackson beat two defenders and fired a shot into the top corner.
