Mirror - Plymouth smash transfer record to sign QPR's Simon Walton
Plymouth manager Paul Sturrock has smashed the club transfer record by splashing out £750,000 on QPR midfielder Simon Walton.
Walton, 20, underwent a medical at Home Park yesterday, after agreeing a four-year deal on Friday.
He only joined QPR from Charlton last summer but was restricted to just five appearances after suffering a broken leg.
He was then loaned to Hull in January and played 10 times. Mirror
