Recently appointed Youth Team Manager Steve Brown and Centre of Excellence Manager Keith Ryan can't wait to get their teeth into their new roles.
The pair, who were appointed on Friday afternoon, are champing at the bit to get started.
"It's always an aspect of the professional game that has interested me,'' Brown, who will take charge of the R's Under-18 side, told www.qpr.co.uk.
"I've always been interested in the development of young players and this is a fantastic opportunity for me to work with the youngsters at QPR.
"Rangers have produced some very good young players over the years and it's a great challenge for both me and Keith to unearth the next crop of youngsters.
"The location and the area are great in terms of finding the stars of the future. It's a superb catchment area and I can't wait to get my teeth into the role.''
Ryan, who will be responsible for the full-time scholars' education programme, added: "It's been a bit of a whirlwind few days, but I'm delighted to be back in football so soon after my release from Wycombe.
"I've worked with the gaffer in the past and I'm really looking forward to starting the role.
"It's a big challenge, but me and Steve have the energy and enthusiasm to build upon the good work already started here.
"Our relationship goes back 13 years or so and we've never had a crossed-word during that period. We gel as a pairing and that can only be a good thing as we prepare to get stuck into a very challenging role.'' QPR
