After two days of intense training, the QPR First Team squad were given a well-earned morning off today (Sunday).
However, the let up will be relatively brief for the 22-man party, who will be put through their paces back on the Ria Park training pitches this afternoon, preparing in earnest ahead of the arrival of Sheffield United to Loftus Road on Saturday.
Luigi De Canio has been keen to work on his English in the Algarve. The R's First Team Coach took the bold decision to leave his interpreter back in West London, as his grasp of the English language continues to improve.
Lee Camp, for one, is impressed with the Italian's desire to overcome the language barrier, commenting: "It's improving all the time to be fair to him.
"Being in a foreign country for the last few days, it kind of hits home just how hard it can be to communicate with people that speak a different language, but Gigi is getting to grips with it really well."
Elsewhere, away from the football, Damien Delaney and Gavin Mahon exacted revenge on golfing buddies Gareth Ainsworth and Martin Rowlands on Saturday afternoon.
After losing their opening 18 hole showdown on Friday, the pair were comfortable winners at the exclusive Quinta de Lago North course yesterday. QPR
