Forty Years Ago Today: Frank Clarke, elder brother of Alan Clarke, made his QPR debut at home to Bolton. QPR drew 1-1 (Roger Morgan). QPR signed Clarke, for a QPR record fee, after their effort to sign John O'Rourke fell through. Yesterday...Shabbaz Baidoo remained on the bench as Tony Roberts' Dagenham won their third consecutive game...Kevin Gallen played the entire 90 minutes as MK Dons won at Barnet who did not have recent QPR signing, St Aimie in the 16....With Royce in goal, Cullip making his debut and Adam Miller scoring the only goal from the penalty spot two minutes from time, and Leroy Griffiths coming on as sub a good day for ex-QPR at Gillingham...Ian Evatt vs Lee Cook (who played the first 70 minutes) as Blackpool beat Charlton 5-3.... Bignot played the first 70 minutes for Millwall who beat Port Vale 3-0.... Rose played the first hour for Yeovil. Forbes also played (but not Bircham). They lost 0-3 at home to Southend.... Tommy Doherty's Wycombe won 1-0 at Rochdale.... Cureton got the only goal as Glen Roeder's Norwich beat Barnsley 1-0. Nardiello played the first hour...Ian Holloway's Leicester lost 0-2 at Coventry...Danny Shittu's Watford drew 0-0 at home to Preston...Walton came on as a late sub for Hull who won 2-1 at WBA....Ben Sahar came on as a late sub for Sheff Wed who beat Cardiff 1-0. Adam Bolder played the full 90 minutes for Wednesday.
