Maybe Ian Dowie to QPR
-
The Sun/CHARLIE WYETT - IAIN DOWIE is set to become the new boss of QPR.
First-team coach Luigi De Canio left Rangers yesterday by “mutual consent”.
The mega-rich club backed by F1 chiefs Flavio Briatore, Bernie Ecclestone and billionaire Lakshmi Mittal has turned to Dowie who was sacked by Coventry in February.
Dowie, 43, was last night haggling over personal terms.
If he rejects the Loftus Road offer, Rangers will move for MK Dons manager Paul Ince.
De Canio was appointed last October and steered the team out of trouble to 14th.

Please God no. In the words of another QPR messageboard poster.
Credit Cheese from the dot.org board. Apologies for the bad language but i think he's summed it up perfectly.
"Bollocks to Dowie, bollocks to Big focking Sam and bollocks to McLaren.
If they did sack LDC I fully expect a better manager to be appointed and that is not any of these dullards."
Chris aka Ellerslie on the 'boards.
Farewell Gigi and best of English luck to you.

The Daily Sketch
We can report with finality that a former famous England Player will take over QPR. We cannot reveal his name until Monday because although his English is excellent he tends to swear too much. The QPR Language academy is working feverishly to remove his distasteful language. Meanwhile DeCanio was spotted on a plane to France where he will take over a famous French team as his French is very good.

Why would any superhoops fan settle for iain dowie now - with all the money behind the club and the the buzz of being a rangers fan especially now why should not settle for second best.
iain dowie - not a proven manager.
paul ince - not ready to manage at championship level yet
sam allardyce - would not be the worst choice
di canio got us playing good football and I think rangers would be better off with another foreign manager (jose mourinho would be nice)
