Today would have the sixty-second birthday of former QPR Goalie, Peter Springett (RIP, who dieda decade ago).
Born May 8, 1946, Peter Springett, brother of former QPR and England goalie, Ron Springett, played for QPR in the early-to mid 1960s (including the 1966/67 Division 3 Championship team and the League Cup Final). Peter Springett then was sold to Sheffield Wednesday with brother Ron Springett returning to QPR from Sheffield Wednesday as partial payment. Marcus Bean Released by Blackpool
