Kevin Gallen Concerned About QPR Speaks Out

-
BBC - Gallen fearful over QPR's future

Former QPR striker Kevin Gallen has criticised the club's chairman and fears for the London outfit's future.
Gianni Paladini is prepared to sell his stake in the Championship outfit along with his fellow Italian owners.
"I'm very fearful for the club and I don't see how it's going to get better with the current regime," MK Dons striker Gallen told BBC London 94.9.
"They're putting the club under serious pressure by extending the debt. I don't think anyone will buy at the moment."
Gallen was released by QPR at the end of the season and has spent more than 14 years at Loftus Road in two separate spells.
"You've got to start at the top," added the 31-year-old who started his career with the club when they were in the Premiership in the nineties.
"Two years ago when there was a different chairman we were getting average gates of 15-16,000 and I think last year it went down to 13-14,000 so to me that says it all."
"I feel for the fans. In years gone by the fans would have got together and wouldn't have stood for it, but at the moment they are standing for it and I don't know why."

Former QPR striker Kevin Gallen says he fears for the future of the club.
Gallen made 366 league appearances in two spells with QPR, and has also played for Huddersfield, Barnsley and Plymouth.
Gallen becomes the first signing for Milton Keynes Dons boss Paul Ince.
Plymouth were also close to signing the 31 year old who spent the second half of last season on loan at Home Park playing under former QPR boss Ian Holloway.
Gallen criticised current QPR chairman Gianni Paladini who is prepared to sell his stake in the Championship outfit along with his fellow Italian owners.

Up for sale
Gianni Paladini says the club's Italian owners are ready to sell up for about £4m.
Paladini says he will sell his stake for the £650,000 he paid for it when he joined the board in 2004.
Fellow investors Antonio Caliendo and Franco Zanotti are also believed to be prepared to accept the price they paid for their larger stakes.
Rangers have been plagued by problems on and off the pitch since Paladini and Caliendo took control in 2005 following a bitter power struggle.
Caliendo has loaned the club a substantial amount in order to prevent it from going into administration.
Paladini insists this money will only be repayable should QPR make a profit by reaching the Premiership, and should not be a barrier to a takeover.
But any new owner would have to deal with ongoing losses and 11.59% interest repayments on a £10m loan a previous regime at Loftus Road arranged to take the club out of administration in 2002 BBC London
