Millwall Mad- Bignot signs Story by The Merry Lion 2008-01-14
Millwall have signed fullback Marcus Bignot from Queens Park Rangers after Lions boss Kenny Jackett was able to thrash out a deal for the player after weeks of egotiations.
The 33-year-old, who has signed an 18-month contract, is expected to go straight into the side to face Walsall in tomorrow's FA Cup replay.
Bignot was enjoying a successful loan spell at The Den until his parent club pulled the plug on the deal in January and recalled the player back to Loftus Road. Inital talks about signing a permanent deal seemed to have broken down but Jackett perservered and finally completed the move this afternoon. Mad
